American Tournament and BBQ

We were very lucky with the weather for the American Tournament and BBQ. The winning man was John Stohlner and the winning woman was Linda Dougal - well done both. Thanks to Gordon, Neil and Oscar for their BBQing skills - very tasty and no burnt offerings this year. A fun day. More pictures on our Facebook page.

Christmas Party 2017

Our annual Christmas bash will take place at the Murrayfield Hotel again. The format will be similar to last year: 3 course meal and disco. The date is Saturday December 2nd. More details to follow.

Over 50s ladies

The over 50s Ladies' tournament (otherwise known as "The Old Bats") took place recently. It was all good fun with tennis, bubbly, great food and good weather! Some of us played much better after lunch and prosecco! The winners were Margaret (Johnston) and Shona (Headrick) - well done both.

 AGM

The Annual General Meeting will be held in the clubhouse on SATURDAY 18 NOVEMBER 2017 at 12.00.

 Tennis Holiday May 2018

We are just starting to look at booking our next tennis holiday, provisionally at same hotel as before and same dates ie Sunday 27th May - Thursday 31 May (Bank Holiday weekend).

We go to the Protur Safari Aparthotel in Sa Coma http://protur-hotels.com/en/hotels-in-majorca/protur-safari-park-aparthotel/entertainment-and-sports       where they have 18 tennis courts and we have been able to book however many we need for a few hours each morning and afternoon.  It is all inclusive (accommodation, food, drink (oh dear!) and tennis) and, at the current exchange rate, works out at approx. £55 per person per day for those in double or twin rooms.

At this stage, we need to know how many would be interested in going to check that the numbers are viable - so please can you let Mary know asap.
